1. I've lost my registration information. What now?
Send me an email at brian@wounded-heart.com from the email account used to register the game. Please include the name used to register the game if possible. If you are not sure which email account was used, please include all possible addresses in your email. The information will be sent to the matching address.
If you no longer have access to that email account, you'll have to email sales@regsoft.com for assistance. I will not send registration information to any email account other than the one used to register the game under any circumstances.

2. There are black lines on the skybox and/or land.
Go to Options->Video Options, and change the Real GL_CLAMP setting.
3. Showing more than one track when in Ride Mode.
Go to options->Game Options->Inactive Track Rendering and set it to Normal. You can also choose the wireframe setting if you just want a rough idea of how they interact.
4. The sound is too loud at a distance!
You can tweak the sound fall-off for each sound effect. To do this, open up the smcfg.ini with any text editor. You'll see a list of sounds used by the game. The lower the value, the less distance the sound will cover.
5. What are the hotkeys for ____ mode?
Pressing F1 anywhere in the game will bring up a list of hotkeys that are available at that time. Also, the help files have a complete list of hotkeys.
6. How can I change values in smaller/larger amounts?
Almost all of the values like Banking and Grid Spacing can be incremented in different step amounts. By holding down either the Shift or Ctrl buttons, you change the increment amount.
7. Vertical track gets messed up!
This is what the Relative Banking option is for. Please keep in mind that this setting is designed to only be used on vertical and near-vertical sections of track, not all over the place.

8. How to get a shuttle/impulse coaster to work?
The key to building a working shuttle or impulse coaster is using multiple laps and setting the correct direction on your station, launch, lift, advance, and block segments.
You can set multiple laps by clicking on the 'station tab' and look for the 'Laps' option in the lower right hand corner. The number of laps you need to set depends on the type of coaster you are building.
Couple things to remember when using multiple laps: One forward pass thru the station equals one lap, anther thing is the direction(s) in which the train will be traveling each lap. You can set the direction for each lap by using both the 'Lap' and 'Direction' options found in the segment/control point settings on the left hand side when a control point is selected.
Now lets to put these options to work. In the case of a shuttle coaster, such as a Boomerang. You'll need two laps. One the first lap, you'll need to set your station segment to backwards. You'll also need to set the lift hill to backwards for lap one. This will allow the train to leave the station backwards and up the lift hill. When the train re-enters the station, that would be the end lap one. Now to allow the train to pass complatly thru without E-stopping on you, you'll need to set-up lap two. For a boomerang type coaster, all you need to do for lap two is set the station segment direction to both. This will allow the train to pass thru the station forward at the end of lap one, and to re-enter the station backwards to end lap 2. This will also allow the train to come to a stop to end the ride cycle.
Impulse coasters are abit more tricky to work with. The way I've found that works well on Impulse coasters is this: First set the number of laps you wish to run. On the station segment, set all your directions on all laps to foward excpet for your last lap, for your last lap you want to set you direction to backwards. This will allow the train to pass thru the station multiple times and re-enter the station backwards and come to a stop at the end of the ride cycle. You also need to set the directions on your launch sections. You'll need to set direction on your launch sections to Launch Both(L.B) for all laps but the last lap. The last lap you'll need to set the direction to backwards. Don't forget to set your launch speed and strengh for each lap. This will allow the train to be launched in both directions on all laps, excpet the last lap, and allow the train to slow down before re-entering the station and ending the ride cycle on the last lap.

9. Known Issue with newer video drivers
There is a known issue with the latest ATI drivers and SM1.55. Actually, the problem will happen with any driver that reports an OpenGL version greater than 1.x. Downloading and applying the latest patch will fix this problem.
